It’s been a busy year for the team at Ardanis. In 2024, we welcomed 39 new people to the team and together we have all made it a very successful year.
January: We kicked off the year in style as Stefan attended the IPBN Business Awards in Lisbon, hosted by H.E. Ambassador of Ireland to Portugal, where he presented the IPBN Business Award to the deserving winners. Nick, Aaron, Jamie, and Grace were all showcased in Irish media, and were featured in our company spotlights. We also welcomed William Waldron, our New Business Development Director to the team.
February: This month, Lisa took centre stage and was showcased in our company spotlight, highlighting her experience and achievements!
March: Our team successfully held an AI event in Cardiff, where JC delivered a keynote speech alongside talks from Nicole Greer from Teleperformance and Dr Asad Javied from Cardiff University.
April was an important milestone as Ardanis celebrated its 8th successful year in business. Ivan, JC, and David represented Ardanis at the Call and Contact Centre Summit at London Heathrow. Ivan also attended the launch of the Unicorn Kingdom Pathfinder Awards for the UK Department for Business and Trade. Stefan was an honoured guest at the British Irish Chamber of Commerce Gala Dinner at the Mansion House in Dublin.
May: This month, we were nominated as a finalist for the Tech Excellence Awards for Private Project of the Year. We also welcomed Susan Hogan, Head of Recruitment and HR, and Yvonne Nevin, new Delivery Project Manager, to the team. William and Lee attended the Dublin Tech Summit at the RDS in Dublin.
June brought some important networking opportunities. Stefan spoke at the Ireland Portugal Business Network at the Dublin Innovation Conference at the Guinness Enterprise Centre. Ivan attended the 16th Annual Enterprise Ireland Financial Services Dinner at the Irish Embassy in London with our partner from PremFina, Tony Livesey.
We were delighted to be a finalist for Enterprise Solution of the Year at the 16th ITEuropa Media and Intelligence Channel Awards in London. Andre also shared insights with the Business Post about the intersection of sustainability and technology.
In July, we proudly sponsored the Contact Centres in Financial Services Summit, with Stefan and JC both in attendance. Susan spoke to the Business Post discussing how Ardanis attracts top talent for our clients and how remote work practices shape our culture and values.
In August, as part of our commitment to presenting Ardanis in the best light for future events, media training was organised by Judi. This training supports senior team members in improving the quality of photographs for use on social media and the website.
September marked the celebration of the official launch of Aileen on 26th. This event celebrated the team’s hard work and was a great success. It was supported by a press release shared with media including BOI, Business Plus, Silicon Republic, and TechBuzz Ireland. We also welcomed Gary Poolman, our new UK Sales Director to the team. The Contact Centre event in Manchester also took place on the 9th and 10th, with Ivan, JC, and Gary representing the company.
October brought the celebration of the launch of our new company website, featuring a WordPress rebuild aligned with best practices and full GDPR compliance. Key improvements included an enhanced design, a better user experience, as well as a new pages, updated clients, the Aileen savings calculator and a new newsletter signup option to grow our database.
Ardanis was selected as a finalist in two categories at the AI Awards Ireland 2024: Best Application of AI in Consumer/Customer Service and Best Application of AI in an SME. We were also finalists for the Technology Innovation of the Year Award at the IBEC Technology Ireland Industry Awards 2024.
In November, the team attended several key events in Dublin and London, including the London Call & Contact Centre Expo on 26th and 27th November, the IBEC Awards, and the AI Awards in Dublin. Stefan and JC also recorded a podcast titled Enhancing Call Centre Efficiency with AI with AI Ireland’s Founder, Mark Kelly.
In December, some senior management team members participated in an interactive personas workshop led by Lee as part of the rollout of our new Aileen product.
